Aamir Sohail began his media career in radio, where he developed expertise in production, programming, audio documentaries, and news, before moving into newscasting with a leading British satellite channel in Manchester. Over the years, he has produced and presented content for internationally recognized media outlets, including radio and satellite television stations across the UK.
He holds a degree in Broadcast Media from the University of Chester, England, with a specialization in documentary film production. His academic and professional work has often drawn from the practices of world-class broadcasters such as BBC and Al Jazeera, shaping his approach to storytelling and journalism.
Aamir has produced an extensive portfolio of audio and video documentaries, blending creative expression with journalistic integrity. His work reflects a deep commitment to creating meaningful content that informs, engages, and inspires audiences.
Beyond production, Aamir has contributed to the academic field by teaching at some of the UK’s most respected media institutions. As an educator and mentor, he has guided emerging professionals, sharing both theoretical knowledge and practical industry insights.
Currently based in Canada, Aamir is the producer and host of the morning program “Lovey-Dovey Show” on CMR 101.3 FM. Alongside his on-air role, he continues to train aspiring broadcasters and media practitioners, reinforcing his dual identity as both a seasoned media professional and a mentor to the next generation.
